Claude Code v2.1.101: Team Onboarding, Better Errors, Enterprise TLS

What shipped

Claude Code v2.1.101 adds a /team-onboarding command, OS CA certificate trust by default, auto-created cloud environments for /ultraplan, and clearer error and rate-limit messages.

Smarter Work

Before: onboarding new teammates meant writing ramp-up docs by hand, enterprise TLS proxies needed manual cert configuration, and rate-limit errors showed an opaque countdown. After: /team-onboarding generates a guide from your actual usage history, TLS proxies work out of the box, and rate-limit messages tell you exactly what limit you hit and when it resets.

How a team used this

Dani is a staff engineer onboarding two contractors to a monorepo. Normally she'd spend an afternoon writing a setup guide from scratch. Instead she runs /team-onboarding and gets a ramp-up doc generated directly from her team's Claude Code usage patterns — the actual commands they run, the workflows they rely on. She sends it before standup. The contractors are unblocked by noon. Meanwhile, their enterprise TLS proxy — which used to need a custom cert config — just works. Dani doesn't touch a cert file once.
